We follow our own code of ethics, as we believe that to be a professional, ethical breeder you must have your heart devoted to a breed and be available 24/7.  Care about the health, well being and socialization of the parents and any puppies.  A club member is not the only place you can find an experienced and well rounded professional breeder.  Plus we do not believe in mating relatives as that only creates birth defects or causes health issues later in the animals life.  That is an important issue that we try to educate people who are looking for a puppy, you want health to be the number one concern and mating realtives is an invitation to health issues as soon as a puppy is born.

Most of the exclusive clubs for Coton de Tulears approve and encourage the mating of relatives, plus only member Cotons can mate ---thus limiting the blood lines in the breeding program as the memberships are not large.  The breed is rare and there are limited blood lines in the world, let alone adding strict membership guidelines for the breed.  There are many changes taking place with the Coton and we are not part of the idea of mixing the Coton with other breeds or line breeding to create the "cookie cutter" looking Coton.  We are against the Coton de Tulear being accepted by the AKC.  Plus the AKC does not have a confirmation for the Coton, that is one reason they are not accepted by the AKC, they only have FSS [ foundation stock service ].

Our house is the home to four Coton de Tulears, we only have Cotons.  Our Cotons live in our home full time, they do not have dog runs or a kennel --- they are part of our family.

As hobby breeders we look for very best blood lines available and all four Cotons we imported from Europe, we do not have any American blood lines, or the American tall Coton de Tulear or Cotons bred in the United States of solid color of brown or black.

Our Cotons we imported with show and breeding rights with full registration with FCI, which we dual registered with the rare breed clubs in the United States, such as the UKC/ARBA/CKC.
