Hi, I don't know you but we have 2 Cotons and were reading more about them on your website. Thank you for such great information! Ours just turned 14 and 13 and we are still learning. We never knew to keep their hair at minimum 2-3 inches long to protect their skin. They have always suffered so many skin problems and we thought it was allergies. We have spent so much money trying to help them. No breeder, groomer, or vet ever suggested that simple idea to us. We are going to let their hair grow and see if that helps. It makes sense to me now that I think about it. If we ever decide to get another dog again one day I will be looking to your first!

This is Ruthanne C. I adopted Casper from you nearly 16 years ago, and we just had to say goodbye this past week. We are heartbroken. He was the sweetest dog. Thank you. Are you still breeding Coton's? We still live in Indiana, but we will be looking for a new little boy to fill our hearts and home next year. In September, we will be in Arizona. Thank you again for the gift of such a brilliant, healthy Coton. We loved him so much. Sincerely, Ruthanne

We love our boy Saul! He is such fun and a great addition to our home. When looking for a Coton I talked to many breeders all over the country, and I did much research on the breed. After reading The Euro Coton website and talking to Cayce and Ralph I knew they were the only breeders I would would get a puppy from. When looking through the site one day I noticed an older puppy named Saul, and instantly fell in love with him. We have worked with many breeders over the years and have never experienced such thorough paperwork and follow through on our emails and phone calls. It was a wonderful experience. Saul is a healthy sweet pup who just turned one year old. He loves all his toys and plays ball every morning for an hour. He keeps himself quite entertained as well as our 10 year old Cocker Spaniel who has come to life again! We want to say thank you to the both you for giving us a healthy, funny, loving puppy and making such an investment in Saul for the first year of his life! We will take great care of him!

Hello Again ! Vespa was neutered a couple of days ago and is doing really well. I simply can't tell you what an amazing little pup he's growing into. It is crazy to think he wasn't always a part of the family. I was laughing just the other day when I, [again], came out of the bathroom, and he was waiting patiently for me to come out. It made me think of what Cayce said about waking up in the morning to see his papa doing the same for her. I guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Vespa was 9 pounds the day of his surgery and is super healthy. Send his mama and papa love from their darling little boy, as well as from us. Blessings, Ester and Andre

We adopted 2 pups 6/2024 If you are considering the same I can’t praise Cayce and Ralph enough! These pups have the most amazing disposition. The care and attention to the well being of their litters is second to none! Coton’s are special but their pups are exceptional!

Hey there, I was just going through some papers and came across your name. I hope you are doing well. We got Willa Jane from you in December 2021. She is the most amazing pup! We love her antics, her charm, her kisses. She’s just perfect! (She was Yellow, but I’m sure that doesn’t mean anything to you after almost 2 ½ years.) So, thank you and Ralph for this amazing girl. Warm regards, Caryn L. Attorney at Law Managing Partner

This is Eden with green neckband from the 7/2020 litter. Previously sent you some photos we did from a photoshoot. The photographer contacted us again to do a sponsored photoshoot for Nutrisource and took some more portraits as a thank-you for our work with her, sharing some here! Also sharing photos of his work as a certified therapy dog – we worked as a team at the Torrey Pines Farmer’s PGA golf tournament and he enjoyed it! I have been starting to work with my Coton to rehabilitate anxious dogs as a behaviorist team. Recently we worked with a senior dog that was terrified of elevators. I’m starting to experiment with working with my Coton to help cases of bad separation anxiety too. My dog is a great anchor and example for other dogs and he works wonderfully with me, taking cues and direction well. He also loves this work and I can tell it gives him a sense of purpose and healthy stimulation. I have been very happy with my Coton and we are the best pair – whether working together or just enjoying life together 🙂 Thanks again! Eden San Diego

The puppy slept in his wire cage without a peep 8 hours straight, what you suggested worked. [ 9 week old Coton puppy] And tonight he walked to the door to let me knw he had to go out to potty. I am so amazed. We also left him in his wire cage for about an hour when we went t the grocery store. I turned on dog TV and he cried when we left but when we got back he was sitting there clam as can be. He is also responding to his name. He is eating and drinking well, no concerns.

Thank you to the best breeders in the whole world, Cayce and Ralph. The breed is wonderful but it’s the love and devotion that Cayce and Ralph give them. At 11 weeks, we picked Cosmo up. He was affectionate, smart, and already completely potty-trained to go outside. He can lay on a bedridden person’s bed for over an hour. and now she is not bedridden. The things Cosmo knew at 11 weeks were 100%. Thanks to all the hard work already done by Cayce and Ralph. Cosmo is such a joy. Cosmo takes the stress out of a stressful world. Cayce and Ralph thank you for making Cosmo a perfect puppy. Kindly, Diana and Andrew

Hello Ralph and Cayce, Wanted to update you on Teddy Bee since he turned one on 7/7/2023. He brings me joy and everyday — he is the perfect dog. He just passed his Canine Good Citiznes test yesterday 7/23/2023. So proud! I am interested in him becoming a therapy dog like his father. Thanks, Gayle and Teddy Bee

I have been taking the puppies to doggie day care, where they spend 4 hrs playing with other puppies in a controlled environment. They love it and it gives each of them individual time to interact with other dogs. As I am sure that you know from experience, these dogs are loved by everyone they interact with on a regular basis. Take Care.

I was on your website with Eddie next to me, he heard your voice [his first human Momma] as you talked to your recent litter of puppies. He pushed my arm out of his way and was in a trance hearing your voice. He wanted to jump into my phone. He was looking for you. Your baby Coton remembers you beyond words.

I have a Coton her name is Bella she is now 12 and he age is showing. She has been the best family pet we could have ever asked for and beyond. With her age we find ourselves seeking another Coton and I must say your Cotons are just exquisite and beautiful. I wish you were closer not sure the costs involved in getting one of your lovelies to us here in Canada but I am in awww yours are beauties. We are wanting another female so our Bella can show her the ropes as Bella is a very motherly nurturing dog to our little LH Chihuahua Tucker 5yrs old and has been his companion and friend since he was brought home as a pup. I would love some info if you do out of Country adoptions.

We adopted Tulip in March 2021. She was born 1/3/21, and she is the happiest, sweetest, most playful puppy we’ve ever owned or known. Cayce and Ralph’s adoption process reflects their experience in breeding healthy, happy puppies, while providing their new parents plenty of help as they learn more about this interesting and rare breed. They welcomed me into their beautiful home in the desert of AZ when I picked up Tulip at their house, and allowed us to bond before we left to catch our flight back to Seattle. The drive from Phoenix airport was about an hour, and the scenery was breath taking. I whole-heartedly recommend Euro Coton Cottage if you decide to adopt a Coton de Tulear.

Born 3/10/21, we are now the VERY proud owners of one of Ralph and Cayce’s (and Shanti and Nureyev’s) babies! Our Aza Pearl is the most well adjusted, healthy, intelligent, fun-loving girl we’ve ever had the pure pleasure of adopting! She has brought SO MUCH laughter and love to our home already and we look forward to a VERY LONG, HAPPY LIFE with her! Aza was worth the wait and we would HIGHLY recommend Ralph and Cayce (who we look forward to keeping in touch with into the future)! They are the REAL deal in breeders and are totally committed to the true Coton bloodline. We’d love to be in touch with other Coton Cottage owners as well! Ralph and Cayce know how to reach us with your info! Pure JOY and happy tails from us to you!

We adopted our sweet little Madison from you all about two years ago. Prior to that we lost our male suddenly and needed to quickly fill that hole. Luckily we found you and I can say without reservation that you have amazing lines. Madison is so easy to train, fabulous temperament and she reads people and emotions in an almost human way. We had bred Golden Retrievers previous to acquiring a coton and while we still love our Goldens, I am over the moon with Cotons. Beautiful, clownish, well mannered and they love everyone. However, breeders are not equal! If I get another one, I will definitely stick with Euro Coton Cottage as I believe you are doing a great job preserving what a Coton is. thank you!

I stumbled upon your website when I was reminiscing about our Coatie. We had a our Coton de Tulear, Coatie, for 15 years and we miss her so very much. She came to us in 1994 from France. She was so smart. She loved balls and would pop the ball under a chair and quickly run to the other side to catch it. She was quite the comedian. We took her to a fenced in baseball park one day and she literally ran the bases. I think that was her favorite day. She was great with other dogs, kids, and people. She liked to think she was the boss of our two other dogs, but they just laughed at her. She was not crazy about men in uniform. One day, I was writing about this oddity in a Coton forum on the on the internet. A woman from Nevada replied that her Coton did not like men in uniform either. The women then told me that her dog was crazy about balls. As we continued chatting, we discovered that both of our pups had the same sire. We miss our Coatie and have only good memories. Thanks for giving me a place to share.
